Übersetzungsmanufaktur takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly observes the statutory data protection requirements of the new Federal Data Protection Act 2018 [BDSG-neu] and the EU General Data Protection Regulation [DSGVO]. Übersetzungsmanufaktur shall treat all documents and information received as privileged and, to the best of its knowledge, maintain the confidentiality of all matters that it becomes aware of as part of its business relationships with clients. Freelance partners have signed non-disclosure agreements. Übersetzungsmanufaktur saves your data exclusively for the purposes of order processing, accounting and exchanging information with the client, and insofar as this is technically necessary. Under no circumstances shall the data collected be sold or passed on to unauthorized third parties for any other reason.
The following provides an overview of how we ensure this protection, what type of data is collected and the reasons for this.
Data processed on this website
Übersetzungsmanufaktur automatically collects and saves information transmitted to us by your browser in server log files. This information relates to:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (the previous page)
- Host name of the computer accessing the site (IP address)
- Time of server request
Übersetzungsmanufaktur cannot attribute this data to specific individuals. This data is not combined with other data sources. In addition, data is deleted after being analysed for statistical purposes.
In using the contact form on this website only the data entered by you will be processed for processing your inquiry. Within the sense of minimising data the data required are reduced to a necessary minimum.
Data processing in the case of orders
In the following cases we process/save your personal data
- 1. Customer data: The data actively entered by you are processed/saved. These data are exclusively used for the purpose of executing and billing a translation job.
- 2. Order data: Information/data transmitted by clients are processed/saved for the purpose of registering and executing a translation job. In so far documents have to be created within the scope of executing a translation job using personal data for which the legal obligations to retain data (e.g. invoices) Art. 6 (1) c) DSGVO shall additionally be the legal basis for processing. If personal data is contained in the document to be translated, the data shall be exclusively used for translation purposes. You may also anonymise such data in preparation of the translation job and/or remove the personal nature.
Duration of data storage
The stored personal data of customers and translators are archived as long as cooperation is active. Translations of our clients are stored as long as a client is an active client or no other agreement has been made. In the case of agreeing upon a deadline in an individual case, the data shall be stored accordingly.
Personal data which are transmitted to us via the contact form on this website shall only be saved for the period of processing the inquiry.
Security of your personal data
Übersetzungsmanufaktur protects your personal data against unauthorized access, use or publication. Übersetzungsmanufaktur ensures that the personal data saved by you on the server is stored in a controlled, secure environment that prevents unauthorized access and publication.
Transfer of your data
Übersetzungsmanufaktur does not pass your personal data on to unauthorised third parties unless this is necessary for order processing purposes. The data transferred is limited to the minimum required. Übersetzungsmanufaktur shall only pass on your data to the authorised government institutions and authorities to the extent required by law or by court order.
Right to information
You have the right to receive information at any time about the data saved about you, its origin and recipient, as well as the purpose of storage. You can request information about the data saved by writing to email@example.com.
